About — Barcelona

I am an architect working between Barcelona and the Mediterranean coast, designing buildings that hold light, weather, and daily life.

My work spans private houses, cultural buildings, and social housing — always carried personally from the first site visit to the final construction detail. I believe the small decisions are the architecture: where a wall meets the floor, how a handle feels at the end of a day, where the light lands at four in the afternoon.

Before establishing an independent practice, I trained and worked in studios in Barcelona and Copenhagen, on projects ranging from single-family homes to public competitions. That range taught me one durable lesson: the scale changes, the care should not.

When not building, I teach, draw, and walk sites that will never be commissions. The portfolio here is a selection — the projects I would stand inside again.

Principles

Principles

01

Site first

Every project begins on the ground it will occupy — its light, its noise, its neighbours. The building should feel discovered there, not delivered.

02

Material honesty

Few materials, used truthfully, detailed with intention. What holds the building up should be allowed to look like it does.

03

Light as structure

Daylight is designed with the same rigour as the frame: sections shaped around the sun, rooms placed by the hour they are lived in.

04

Build to endure

Architecture is judged in decades. Passive performance, honest weathering, and maintenance a person can actually do.

Process

Process

Hand-drafting a plan with pencil and ruler

Still drawn by hand first

Every project starts as pencil on trace — plans and sections drawn slowly enough to notice their mistakes. Only then does the work move to the model. The computer is a wonderful employee and a terrible boss.
